Description/Interesting Notes: An extraordinary example of proustite from this historic Czech locale!!! This specimen is absolutely loaded with sharp, highly complex, intergrown proustite crystals almost covering a small amount of matrix!!! The crystals exhibit deep red color with marked translucence throughout (and wi...th any backlighting the crystals glow an intense red within!)!!! The crystals are more sharply defined and exhibit more crystalline detail than the pics show!!!! This specimen is in fantastic condition all around, with only trivial damage - the specimen displays gorgeously in person!!! There are some scattered crystals of a complexly modified, octahedral dark grayish metallic mineral present as well!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of noted collector/dealer Herb Obodda and retains its original label in addition to an old, unattributed label as well!!! Proustite specimens from Pribram are seldom seen on the market - let alone in such exceptional quality!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
