Description/Interesting Notes: A very rare example of otavite from Tsumeb!!! Bona fide, confirmed examples of otavite are very scarce and next to impossible obtain!!! This specimen hosts a significant showing of otavite, present as tiny white, translucent crystals in association wi...th some greenish rosasite!!! Upon close inspection one that there are crystals scattered all over the specimen!!! This specimen retains a previous label from the Flynn Collection as well as a historic M. Grundey collection label and a previous dealer label (priced well into the thousands)!!! This specimen was analyzed and confirmed and retains copies of the confirmatory lab results as well!!! There is much more to see upon close study in person!!! Very rare, historic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
