Struthiomimus Toe Claw
This small toe claw comes from the dinosaur, Struthiomimus Altus. The name Struthiomimus means "ostrich mimic", and this dinosaur lived up to its name. Struthiomimus had long hind limbs, a small beak, and a skull that was very similar to an ostrich. Struthiomimus grew to around 14 feet long and was 7 to 8 feet tall as an adult.
The Struthiomimus toe claw was found in one piece needing no restoration. The claw has light wear f...rom being on the surface. This Struthiomimus toe claw has great detail and preservation with a light orange coloration. All around a nice example of a Struthiomimus toe claw.
The Struthiomimus Toe Claw measures: 9/16" of an inch wide by 1 1/2" inches in length.
This nice toe claw was found on a surface collecting hike in the Hell Creek Formation of Carter County, Montana. The fossil was collected on private ranch land with the owner's permission.
