Up for bid is a Beautiful Giant Fluted Clovis - Authentic Paleo Indian Artifact with Butler COA. This amazing Clovis was found in Wayne County, Ohio and is a giant at 4 5/8" long! Butler says it is made from the a Coshocton Chert material, but really looks like Dover Chert to me. Coshocton is local to the reported area found, but the Paleo Indians travelled a lot and it isn't far from good Dover Chert areas. This Beauty is fluted on both sides, about 2" on one side and an inch or more ...on the other. It is also nicely ground on the basal and hafting areas. It has good patina and mineral deposits and is a no brainer authentic Clovis. This killer also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Robert Butler Artifact Authentications. I'm selling it with this COA speaking for it's authenticity, so if you don't like this authenticator please pass and wait for another listing. Clovis points are from the Early Paleo Period and are 9, 000 to 14, 000 years old. This Clovis is Ex- Robin Young Collection. This is Definitely a Collector Grade Clovis!
