This very rare Latin 4-volumeset of Roman Breviaries, published by Benziger Brothers, Inc. 1926 includes thefollowing separate volumes:Pars Hiemalis – (Winter)Pars Verna – (Spring)Pars Aestiva – (Summer)Pars Autumnalis – (Autumn) The daily prayer books of a priest. On the whole they are in good condition for being nearly100 years old. The bindings are all sound with no cracks to the spine that I have detected, and no loose pages; the page edges are red overlaid withg...old. The leather covers are worn as one would expect. I took the picturesslightly over exposed in natural outdoor lighting so you can see best what I mean. You will find a few lightpencil marks in margins (not many at all, but they are mentioned in the interest of full disclosure. Conditionof ribbons varies from fair to poor. They are brightly colored inside thebook, but the ends exposed to the shelf have discolored. Please check all thephotos. I can send more.Contents of the RomanBreviary:At the beginning stands theusual introductory matter, such as the tables for determining the date ofEaster, the calendar, and the general rubrics.
