Important Notes about Shipping Charges: The amount quoted for Shipping & Handling is calculated by eBay and is equal to the EXACT amount charged by the Post Office plus a $1.00 "packing fee" - the $1.00 fee is our only compensation for the virgin packing materials we use on all of our professionally packaged boxes as well as our cost for the salaried help that does most of our packing - as I am sure you can see, we make NO profit on the Shipping charges and, in fact, our costs are usually greater than the $1.00 fee. On Aug-10-19 at 15:05:42 PDT, seller added the following information:PLEASE NOTE: This wonderful Hide Dress is Crow and not Sioux!!We received the following note from a kind eBayer and our further research confirms his identification:
Thanks for your kind reply. (Don't often get that from eBayers, so I usually keep my mouth shut.) Yes, absolutely 100% Crow. I live ~50miles from the Crow Rez and have studied Indian material culture for 50+ years. The extended "V" -shaped lane of beadwork below the neck is the telltale give-away. You see it on Crow broadcloth and buckskin dresses. Yet, unlike the cloth dresses which are loaded with elk teeth, the buckskin dresses typically are sparsely decorated.Best of luck with this auction! (You always have great stuff!)Barry"
