Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic group of native platinum nuggets from Alaska!!! This is a group of three native platinum crystals that range in size up to 1cm!!! Native platinum from this locale is usually only encountered ...as minute grains, with nuggets over a few millimeters being quite scarce!!! These robust nuggets exhibit attractive rounded features with bright silvery metallic luster!!! These three nuggets were acquired as a group and I figured they were best left as a group - although each one is a great specimen in its own right!!! This group of nuggets also retains a labelled glass vial and a very detailed, custom notecard label from the Mike Groben collection with Fund collection (c.1970) and Waskey collection (c.1957) notation as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
