Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cuprite from this historic English locale!!! This specimen hosts a showy group of sharp, prominent cuprite crystals on characteristic matrix!!! The crystals are present as sharp..., lustrous, deep red crystals that range in size to over 1cm!!! The darkly colored goethite matrix provides a fantastic backdrop to these fine crystals as well!!! Despite some minor damage, the majority of the crystals are in terrific condition and the specimen displays gorgeously in person!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Howard Belsky and retains its original label as well!!!The pics hardly do it justice!!!
