This antique is a great piece to add to any persons collection, with a beautiful & Unique one side curve.
I have not seen this Crosley online anywhere, so I am, not sure, but this could be very rare model
***condition; radio
So I plugged it in and it took approximately 10 seconds to start to hear anything I could only ge...t ONE station a Christian one approximately at 100/9.5 (See pictures)though it took some time
The plug does not look original and has tape around the cord and the small cord that is left seems to be deteriorating
amazingly I plugged it in cautiously and the radio turned on shockingly , but I got only ONE station BARLEY again, with some patience.
there is hardley none humming sound which is pretty remarkable for the age, but slight
I did notice one wire not connected.
I've had this plugged in for over an hour and there was no problem just a great piece of History to admire and hard for me to want to give this one up
Condition of the record player ;
The turntable Works in all 3 speeds, with good loud sound remarkably, I put a record on and got really good sound, but a new needle is definitely NEEDED the one that is on there is very Little/ low and worn out
This would be a great piece to Restore
Size 15l x 12w x 8 1/2 ht.
The cloth around the speaker is pulling down on the top
The plastic covering the dial numbers is all intact & not broken
the 3 knobs are present the first knob(volume) is hard to turn the other two seem to work good
The wood case seems to be in very nice condition
Considering the age, there is a little splitting or cracking by the speaker round corner( see pictures) with a few small chips from old normal wear
There is again old wear, scuffs, scratches, dirt and dust that, I will leave this up to the winner to take care of.
I do not tamper or clean or fix any of the radios/ turntable in my purchase of vintage radios , purchased from a estate sale, from a vintage collector home
**** I would strongly recommend that an expert or a professional electrician , put on a correct cord even though it works now, I am just trying to be extra cautious in letting the winner, be aware and as this would be the safest thing to do
