You are looking at an antique anvil in great condition. Unfortunately, I cannot make out any marking that might indicate a manufacturer. The weight marking is difficult to discern but is either 2-0-23 or 2-0-25. This marking displays the English hundredweight system, indicting that this is an anvil made in England before the adoption of the metric system. Converting the EHS to pounds, the anvil weighs either 247 or 249 lbs.
