for auction a vintage Carter & Hakes machine Co. Bench top milling machine. It is as found and in good running condition. The only cleaning I have done is wipe off the grime and dust and dirt. The motor is a Toyang model T M E 202-4 1 horse power 1720 RPM. It is set at 110V but can be changes to 220V if desired. The machine is in good used condition . The table is 12'' long. It is pretty clean and retains most of the factory engine turning design on it. The ...machine measures 14'' tall to the center of the arbor spindle. The machine has been repainted at one point in its' life, Some of the paint is peeling off and the original finish is underneath. The machine comes with 3, 3C collets- one is in the machine. And 3 other bits, I am not sure of what they are called. ( see picture 11). The machine is as found and could use some minor cleaning and some lubrication. The motor runs smooth, The machine turns freely, The belt is in good/decent shape, but the belt is a bit large/loose and will need to be tightened. I have been told this is a rare machine.
