A very old lady indeed. I can see that there is no green ear at all but some of her necklace has transferred onto her skin over the years, Her skin is also flaky in places but otherwise remarkable for her age.
The dress as best as I can tell from my research is 'Plantation Belle' #966 (1959) and looks to me complete with the bag, shoes and hat. I suspect that this has faded over the years even thou...gh she has not seen the light of day for over 20 years.
please look at the pictures carefully. I am no Barbie expert and selling my late bother's collection.. Please ask questions and I will answer as best as I can.
May I refer you the 'Fashion Doll Guide' description of this item:

My brother was an prolific and well known collector. He had an extensive collection which I have been making available for the last few years. These dolls were on display in a cabinet for many years and then packed away and put in climate controlled storage (in these plastic protective boxes). To all intents and purposes these are as they would have been when first purchased with little on no fading to the materials.I have every confidence that these items are the best of their kind.. I have come to know this from the feedback I have received from serious collectors who have purchase from the collection over the years.
Please look at the other Barbie items I have for sale and save me as a seller if you are looking for that illusive addition to your collection.
Please be aware that I am always concerned that I would damage a doll or her clothing by dismantling or undressing her. I have regrettably done this in the past so I hope this explains my reluctance in doing this again. These items are more than 50 years old and I would suspect the worst thing would be for them to be handled by someone such as myself who knows little or nothing about these items. It would be a tragedy if these got damaged on my watch having been lovingly cared for all these years..
I appreciate your understanding. On May-29-19 at 05:47:06 PDT, seller added the following information:I have had many questions regarding the word JAPAN on the bottom of her foot. I can confirm that it does appear feintly. Please find a new picture attached showing this...
