For sale is a vintage used bait casting fishing reel byShakespeare. This is a Direct Drive1950, model ED (1967) level wind reel. Thisfeels like a heavy-duty reel as it weighs in at 8.7 ounces and has sturdyconstruction with brass gears and stainless-steel bearings. Spooldiameter is 1 ½ inches and longer pillars are 1 27/32. Handle has dual heavy-duty knobs. Tail plate side features the “automated thumb”spool cap. This reel shows very... little signsof wear and use, just light scuffing and wear, and displays beautifully. The reel winds smoothly and easily, handle isstraight and the clicker is strong. Please view all photos for appearance as partof the description.
