This particular pin waspurchased at auction on December 27, 2005, for $1623.99. At the time ofpurchase, neither the purity of the gold nor the caret diamond was known whenit was purchased on 2005. What is known is that Pi Beta Phi, often known simply as Pi Phi, is an internationalwomen's "fraternity" founded at Monmouth College, in Monmouth, Illinois on April28, 1867.
The pin has beensto...red since it was purchased. The diamond is in a solitaire setting. The tipof the arrow is ornately scrolled. And the closure is a pin and clasp. Theremay have once been a loop chain attached to the eyelets on the shaft of thearrow but it is no longer attached. Easily remedied by an experienced jeweler.
