Randall Made Fighter Model 14 Vietnam Vintage

Special Randall Made 14 Fighter Dedicated to a Veteran of several major theaters of war. Colonel Charles B. Crone. I have no written provenance about Colonel Crone only what I can learn when I search his storied past. I believe he may have served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. If I’m not correct on this assumption then I believe Colonel Crone comes from a long and dedicated military family who served our country on many military fronts.
I date this knife from mid to late 1960 as not...ed by Brown Micarta handle with unlined and chamfered lanyard hole. It also appears additional upgraded options such as the Sawtooth blade and German Nickel Silver Hilt is present. The Randal Made Stamp with Separate S is an excellent example for this time period. The Black Johnson Riveted Sheath and Gray Combination Crystolon stone is also correct for this time period. I have not seen a Randall Made #14 like this one and they do not come up often. I am listing at a low Buy it Now price. This piece of Randall History would make an excellent addition to your Vietnam Collection.
