Presented here is a beautiful original antique doll chemise. This is very finely handmade, as a ladies garment of the era would be. It is made of fine Batiste, hand sewn with tiny stitches that are hard to to see, very narrow hand done French seams. The chemise has cut-work flowers on the bodice with tulle inside, hand bindings. The shoulders are trimmed with woven lace and a micro tiny open edge. It ...has tiny mother-of-pearl buttons on the shoulders with thread loops. Intricate workmanship in this little garment. Measures; 10" long from shoulder to hem, under arms 8 1/2" around, waist 9", sweep at hem 16", 4" across shoulders. Excellent antique condition, clean, sturdy, no stains, no tears; minor age flaws only. Very sweet, all original antique piece.
