Important vintage 1970s Harry Winston Emerald and Diamond bracelet set throughout with 167 round brilliant cut diamonds and 20 oval cut emeralds. All 20 emeralds possess an exceptional vivid green color and hue, top VVS clarity for a Type III gemstone and most certainly of finest Colombian origin. The emeralds have a total estimated weight of 7.5 carats and are natural without signs of any enhancements or treatments whatsoever (inspected by our gemologist). All of the diamonds are equa...lly superb with an average sparkling D-E white color and VVS clarity and have a total estimated diamond weight of another 7.00 carats. The bracelet is crafted out of 18 karat yellow gold and measures 170mm (6.70”) long and 15mm (0.60”) wide at its widest part. The bracelet itself has a lovely flower / floral design with bud like clusters of emerald centerpieces surrounded by diamond petals, while the center of the bracelet resembles a four leaf clover or Irish shamrock made up of 4 emerald leafs (for a similar Harry Winston estate bracelet with sapphires check Christie’s auction sale 9808, Lot #182 and with rubies - Sotheby's auction sale 08498, Lot #407). The bracelet has a gross weight of 29 grams of 18 karat gold and reverse clasp is hallmarked 750, as well as signed with a circled letter “W” and numbered with inventory number 2472. Most likely a vintage piece from the late 70ies or 80ies. Overall condition is superb except for the missing tiny secondary safety latch that could be easily replaced. Most likely the latch was also signed “Winston” like many other Harry Winston pieces from those years. Because of the missing secondary safety latch with embossed word "Winston", we are only describing the bracelet of being attributed to a Harry Winston piece, although an exactly identical clasp and markings could be seen at an emerald bracelet sold by Bonham's, Lot #32, April 15th, 2013 (see attached reference images). We are sure that given current marks and inventory numbers a complete confirmation could be sought after from other sources. Current price is probably only a fraction of original value and its estimate, provided the bracelet once receives its full attribution.
