Antique Dark Blue Staffordshire Sugar Bowl Shell Pattern Circa 1825 Offered for sale is a gorgeous sugar bowl in a very scarce shell pattern. It displays perfect with brilliant shiny glaze and a crisp pattern but does have a little damage. The base has an interior spider crack that does break the exterior glaze but is extremely hard to spot on the exterior. There are a couple pinhead flakes and a very small chip on the underside of the handles that have been col...ored over. The lid has a short interior hairline with only a tiny bit breaking the exterior glaze and there are two chip repairs to the lid edge as well as a few tiny nicks, otherwise fine. Measures 5&3/4" tall, 8&3/4" handle to handle.
