Proper bullet-proof shipping is includ...ed - so whatever you win this for is exactly what you will pay :)
I reserve the right to cancel your bid if you don't play nice, or if I find out you have anything Nike, Zoo York, or Supreme in your collection!
Seriously, it's because this will be the 3rd time I've posted this for sale, and the last.
It took a while to relist because I waited until ebay blocked the account of the donkeyhat who derailed the last two auctions for this deck, so hopefully, no more shenanigans!AND to make sure no one messes around this time...
If you have 20 or less feedback, contact me for approval before bidding!Failing to do so gets you knocked out of the auction and into the ETHER (*props SNB*) where you belong....... for willing to spend $$$....... on this, buuuut not read this far - riiiiiiight.
I am also willing to trade this deck for my grail!I'm putting this out here in case the right eyes see it because I know collectors don't always travel in the same circles and maybe someone outside mine has my grail.I am being 1000% honest here, I would trade this straight up for the EXACT deck as pictured in the last photo:An OG baby blue 1986 Tommy Guerrero dagger with dragon top, wheel wells and outlines around the flames (in similar condition).I will even add another OG deck from my collection (3rd picture).I'm only after the TG exactly as I described and pictured. It's the only one I would be stupid enough to make this offer for. Why? Because that TG is my one first love, rider, and holiest of grails.
If you're here, this Grosso has to have the same or similar place in your heart so you know how I feel!
If you're considering my trade offer, let's be clear on one fact that you and I both know:Any other version, clock, XT, etc is nowhere close to the value and rarity of what this Grosso is.The dagger I pictured, in my opinion, is worth no more or less than what this Grosso is worth out in the wild, but if I gotta grease the deal with another OG deck to shake one loose, done!If you have the TG I'm after, and it doesn't mean as much to you as it does me, I want to hear from you!
To the kooks out thereDON'T message me with something about how you might be tempted to trade your TimeWarp, XT, mini, or other version, blah blah blah.I'll just block you cuz you're stupid for thinking any of those decks are on the same level as this one, being greedy, and a being a total douche for asking.I live by a simple rule, I'm not out to take advantage of anyone's passion and I seethe with venom when I someone tries to take advantage of mine.
Bid with ConfidenceOver 160 Positive Feedback and 2 pages of props on SNB (Same USERID) = nothing shady here!
Good Luck! $1 no reserve - DING DING DING - ROoooound THREE!
Since 2016, Sorry - no more returns on vintage decks or anything I sell anymore. You can blame eBay USER: FreeNavigator for that. He bought a deck from me, but sent back a brick with tracking to get the refund AND keep the deck.
THE FOLLOWING IS A PERSONAL MESSAGE FROM THE SELLER TO YOU THE BIDDER
You might be looking for dead mint, flawless, virgin wood. <-Yeah, I just realized that didn't come out the way I wanted it to. <-and neither did that - MOVING ON ->
I was like you once, so let me put your mind at ease:
YOU WILL find a slight imperfection or mark here or there on this deck and a little squiggly pen outline on it, but YOU WILL NOT FIND chipping or de-lamination at all! You'll also find a slight mark here or there holding a chicken to your face, would you let that prevent you from eating chicken?
Dead MINT doesn't exist for decks from this era. They were made by hand, stacked on top of each other, for sk8rs, shipped to sk8 shops - they weren't thinking "Geez Bob - let's shadowbox these mofo's and make a killing in 33 years!".
When I started out collecting, I was a schmutz for thinking you can buy dead mint 80's decks, but I'm not a schmutz anymore (at least in that regard). Not one deck I own I can say is completely flawlessly diamond mint, no matter what the seller told me beforehand, there is a nick, a scuff, a smudge, a missing tiny ink patch here or there. So yeah, I don't think dead mint exists for skateboards. Maybe coins, diamonds, but you won't find those things here.
What you will find is a pretty FA history making wall-hanger that is rare AF!I'm happy to have had this for the time it's been in my collection, but now it's time for someone else to enjoy.
This is deck is not an Alice In Wonderland or Heaven and Hell or Lifeline or Thrasher or Jester or X2 or X1 or Creature or Tracker or Independent Trucks or Slime Balls or OJ or Bones Brigade or Speed Demon or Cockroach or Hosoi or Caballero or Mullen or Lance Mountain or Jeff Kendall or Rob Roskopp or Jason Lee or Neptune or Tony Hawk or Rodney Mullen or Daewon Song or Eric Koston or Steve or Crow Bar or Hazze or Hans Lindgren or Vision or Powell Peralta or SMA or VANS or Santa Monica Airlines or Santa Cruz or Blind or World Industries or G&S or Gordon Smith (I know same as previous one) or SIMS or Dogtown or SKULL SKATES or ZORLAC skateboard - What this is is a sentence in bold that is really a shameless plug so this auction pops up in your search results if you're after any of those companies too and you might be like - "holy crud! An OG Grosso Toy Blocks WOW!" and bid, bid, bid for you are all my children - muahahahaahahahaah!!!! ok yeah, just went too far LOL ;)
