This listing is for a Gorgeous Old Chinese Blue Silk Jacket/Robe with Hand Embroidered Chrysanthemums and Cherry Blossoms. The hand embroidered design is incredible. This jacket has an Asian Collar, long sleeves, 5 fancy black silk frogs down the front as closures, it has 2 side slit pockets, and a blue satin lining. Having pockets is pretty rare for this type jacket. The embroidered trim is stunning--made up of brightly colored cherry blossoms and chrysanthemums o...n white silk with a black silk cord surrounding all of the floral trim. It is embellished on the front and back. It is around the collar, cuffs, and hem--down the front by the collar and the hem. It has a brand label of Bai Hua and a size tag of M. It says it is a size Medium but it measures out to be a size Large to an XLarge, but please read the measurements to be sure it will work for you. It is a 41 1/2 inches long, the long sleeves are 25 1/2 inches long, 8 inches wide, 22 inches from underarm to underarm, 48 inches at the hips, it is 14 1/2 inches from the last frog to the hem, and the slit on each side is 10 3/4 inches long. This gives you a bit more room in the hips and makes it easier to walk and move. It is smells nice, and is from a smoke free home. This jacket is in very good antique condition. It does need to be cleaned. There is some soiling around the collar on the inside and the cuff edges. It also has some dirt marks here and there, nothing that a trip to the cleaners should fix right up. It still displays wonderfully as it stands. They are all very hard to notice. It has 2 tiny repairs on the inside lining. There are no other issues that I could find. Please look at all of the pictures. They are the description. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
