Welcome to Décor Arts LLCUp for consideration is a beautiful 19th c Antique French Gilt Bronze Cartel Hanging Wall Clock with Japy Freres movement. Featuring a gorgeous gilt bronze case with scrolled floral decoration throughout. The dial is porcelain with original beveled crystal cover. The clock measures 21.5" tall x 11" across x 4.75" deep to crystal. The clock is in very good condition for its age. The porcelain dial is in good order, the minute hand is missing the very tip. ...The crystal is fine with no cracks a couple very minor insignificant surface marks normal for age. Comes with bell, pendulum, and key. To be completely honest I am far from an expert on clocks, I have no idea how to get this clock to run. When I hung this clock up a few weeks ago it was ticking without the pendulum so I imagine it is in good order. The works appear to be clean and well taken care of over the years.
