VICTOR D (early V) PHONOGRAPH
Here's a great example of an early Victor tabletop phonograph, made c.1908. Overall condition is excellent.
The solid, quarter-sawed oak "Mission" cabinet measures 16.5" x 16.5" x 7.5" high and is fitted with decorative corner posts. This is actually an early Victor V, as the model designation was changed soon after this style was introduced.
Fitted with a large 3-spring motor, 12" turntable (with new felt), and a rebui...lt Exhibition reproducer. The 22" diameter x 22" horn is made by the Don Gfell, the world-renowned maker of the very best reproducer of original Victor horns, thus it does not have the splits, cracks and evidence of prior repairs that most 110-year-old horns exhibit.
