Vintage Madame Alexander 20” Cissy In ‘Dressed For Any Summer Morning’ - 1957. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Class with insurance.This is a hard to find Outfit for the 20” Cissy Doll. You can see a photo of this outfit on page 141 of the book Madame Alexander Dolls An American Legend. (See photo). Her outfit is all original and complete as you can see from the photo in the referenced book. Outfit is in excellent condition but has a small tear in the netting (See... picture). Snaps closed by one square snap and does have the Cissy tag inside skirt. Buttons are present on her shirt and there are no rips on the shirt. Her lavender high heels are in good condition and still hold nicely, not stretched out. Her hat is a vintage replacement I had on hand. I put the Lavender adornment on the hat. It looks great on her I think. Doll is in very good condition. Her right leg has a beginning separation at the top inside body. (See photo). Her knees work well and she will sit as seen in photo. Her arms do hold positions. Her head is a little loose but still does hold positions once settled. She retains her original stringing bands. Body color is a nice even flesh tone with all appendages being the same color. Face complexion is nice and creamy with good blush tone and eyes that open and close without help and retaining all eyelashes. Hair color is a tosca (medium golden blonde) and is in a nice style. It is in clean condition and held in place by hair pins she came with. Just a wonderful example of the quality that Cissy was made to last! Such a beautiful doll I think!Please look at all photos and if you need more photos of this doll, just ask.
