Beautiful and Unusual Antique 19C Hand Embroidered Red Silk Chinese Hanging Panel
Embroidered with Dragons, an Urn Scene with Fish on a rod, and other motifs.
It measures 64" by 19", not counting the fringe, and is backed with a raw silk.
The embroidery is well done, much is done with gold metallic thread, offset with a beautiful blue.
Condition is good, a few loose threads, and some edge wear.
Estate found recently here in Maine.
