This listing is for one dining chair from the Design Institute of America, original tags on the bottom. A single chrome plated tube makes up the base, it is a fun design. Chrome base is in very good condition and clean overall, the upholstery is original and should be replaced as it has light staining and discoloration. Solid, straight and completely original chairs direct from a local estate. Chairs are approximately 20.5" wide, 31" tall, 26"... deep and the seat is 18" high.Great shape overall, upholstery aside. Chairs are very solid, no wobble or play, the bases are free of any bends, no dings or bruises to speak of, straight and clean. Some very mild pitting and tarnishing (unpolished) but the chrome plating is easily a 9 out of 10; even the bottoms are pretty clean. Chairs sit very well, no damage to back or seat, foam seems to be in good shape. The upholstery has staining and some discoloration, it should be replaced. That said no cleaning has been attempted, I would bet that most of the spots could be (professionally) removed but not everything; it is usable, free of holes or rips, just dirty.
