Up for auction is a VERY RARE 200BC CHINESE WARRING STATES GOLD GILT BRONZE TURQUOISE STONE BELT HOOK. One of the finest early belt hooks we have personally seen documented in the collection as Warring States period. The belt hook is finely inlaid with turquoise stones retaining a nice amount of its original gold gilding. A truly fine Museum quality example.
Condition: Minor imperfections consistent with ancient age including wear to original gilding. Overall substantially good as seen.
Size: The belt hook measures 4 1/2 inches long, by 1 1/2 inches wide. The belt hook weighs 116 grams.
