A rare andstunningly beautiful Madame Alexander "SWEET VIOLET" Walker Doll, c.1954. She has aCissy face with a pensive expression and deep blue eyes. She is a hard plasticdoll, fully jointed at the wrists, elbows, and knees. Her joints work well as designed, she is fully poseable, and her head turns when she is walked. Her overallhard plastic coloring is nice and even. She doesn't have any splits ofseams. Her gorgeousface has all original blush, red lips, well...-defined eyebrows and all her eyelashes.Her sleep eyes work well. Unfortunately, she has scuff marks on one side ofher face (cheek, nose, upper lip) as shown on a close up picture. It is onlyobvious when looked closely but she is certainly not qualified as"mint". Also, the paint on her lips has craze lines, as shown.Her blond wighas the original set with nice curls, but there are some stray hairs in theback and top of her head. The outfit: She is wearingthe original lavender coat with 3 mother-of-pearl buttons, pastel/dusty pinktaffeta dress with purple blue flowers, matching panties with bows, socks andshoes. The dress and coat are tagged. There are no holes, stains, or tears inthe taffeta dress and it has its original crisp feel and has not beenlaundered. The lavender coat is in good condition with no holes or rips, etc. However, it has a not fresh/yellowish tint to it from handling or maybe displaying, around the seams and in the front/button area. It's not obvious unless looking up close and the photos are not reflecting the effect very well, but nevertheless it's there. She has her original socks andblue shoes with flowers. One sock has a small hole in it. Sheis missing her blue velvet hat and a white muff, she came without them.She doesn'thave any unpleasant odors.
