The Weller Pottery Company produced the Silvertone line throughout the 1920's. The background is textured in shades of gray, blue, and white with many different varieties of floral decoration. A crisp mold and strong color add quite a bit to the value. This Silvertone vase has an Iris floral pattern which is nicely hand painted. Each one of the Silvertone pieces has hand painting.
This vase is about 5 1/2" tall. It has a matte finish and feels solid and smooth. One little chip... is on the bottom rim but appears smooth like it has been there for a while. You can see it in the picture of the bottom and in the last pic, (Lowered the price). This vase was made during the 1920's and for its age, looks terrific. There's no cracks, crazing or other chips.
