Obverse exhibits strong textile toning, the weave of the canvas bag it was inside and against the fabric.

Faint ears appear above the 8 and metal is at the top within the upper loop. 0 has metal ins...ide the upper loop. 1 doubled on right side of shaft. First 8 doubled on left inside and right outside of lower loop. Second 8 doubled at left outside of both loops. Slightly doubled profile from forehead to chin and top of Phrygian cap. Very slightly doubled to quadrupled some left and right stars.Reverse C3a - Normal die, round I O mint mark centered and upright.
