This stunning and highly collectable quad poster of 1990s classic Die Hard With A Vengeance is a piece of true film memorabilia from the 1990s. The third in the series saw the return of John McTiernan directing, which gave the film the familiar feel of the first Die Hard film, and is a series that completely redefined the action genre, from an era that might never be repeated.
This quad... poster uses deep oranges and reds to contrast perfectly with the black. It's a strong, bold visual - much like the film itself. Portraits of Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and Jeremy Irons are overlayed onto a New York skyline - from a time when the Twin Towers were stills standing - with an explosion in situ, while the speed blur perfectly depicts the feelings this film evokes.
This is not a reprint, it is an 100% original promotional UK quad poster and was purchased from an official reseller some 20 years ago now. That is why the poster is double-sided, where the reverse has an identical print only mirrored (text is back to front).
It has always been rolled and never folded, so the poster looks incredible when displayed on a wall.
There are some blemishes to the poster, mainly clustered around the corners, and this can be seen in the photos where I have tried to picture as many of the obvious blemishes as possible. There are no tears, and arguably the marks and scuffs add a lived-in, gritty feel to the poster that contributes to the feel of the film, and to what is a vintage poster print. There are no folds. It could still be framed, while not looking out of place.
