Description: This is a 14k yellow gold & diamond necklace featuring approx. 15ctw of fine color, cherry-red natural rubies. These are NOT lead or glass filled stones, beautifully translucent, set between large wavy 14k gold links pavéd with approx. 5ctw of genuine diamonds backed in rhodium. The diamonds surrounding the center stone are slightly yellow, but there is plenty of sparkle to be sure & the large 14k clasp is very user-friendly. Fit for the princess in us all!

It is usually done to the gem rough before leaving the country of origin and before the stones have been cut and polished. This practice has been done for centuries and is considered common practice in the gem industry. Only gemological testing can determine whether a stone has been heat-treated or not.
