AN interesting bronze medallion with the name Frederick Lowther and the words: He died for freedom and Honor. Dolphins with a Neptune goddess and lion adorn the front. The back is blank but for a very small makers mark. Nice patina, appears to date to late 19th century. Front marked with some initials by artist, hard to read. 4 7/8" wide. Weight 13 ounces.
