A vintage cloth doll, with more textiles then you can even imagine. The variety and detail are astonishing. And somehow this eclectic piece really works amazingly. This bohemian woman has a hand painted face has rosy red cheeks, a smile with flush red lips, A star on her right cheek, eyes out of sorts kind of looking upwards, topped with greenish eye shadow.
Her stringy wild hair is gray on one side and a bright pink on the other. she has a orange and ...black bow in her hair adorned with a gold colored moon and a sort of birds nest with an iridescent bead - egg in the center. There is also a purple ribbon to hang the doll up. ( as seen in the first picture, she is hanging on a wall, and wow does she bring life to the plain wall, more alive than most paintings !! )
Around her neck are various types of stings and yarns making up her " shawl " . The back is a purple and the front is spattered with green, black, and gold.
Her dress... wow. I count about 20 different types of textiles. each strand of the dress may in fact be different. There are feathers, ribbons, shear fabric, lace, stars, polka dots, and every color of the rainbow. Such a whimsical fun piece. The artist put some serious time and effort into this piece. I'm not sure of the artist as this was an estate find. But it reminds me of work by Karen Rossi and the characters she depicts. She is ready to light up any room !!
She is approximately 8 1/2" tall and about 9" wide with dress fluffed wide ( at its widest point )
She really rocks out a solid color neutral shade wall when hanging out, or looks great sitting on a shelf , as the center piece for your table, or just about anywhere you want a laugh and a smile !!

Certain vintage items may be the exception to that rule, We typically don't attempt to clean vintage or collectors items; you are buying them just as we did while treasure hunting. We don't want to damage your vintage item in any way, so we'll leave that to you. We will make sure it's dust and dirt free the majority of the time. We are constantly adding new items to our collection from estate sales, garage sales, and other treasure hunting .
