RARE LYONS NEW YORK stoneware crock with Blue Cobalt double dotted leaf, TWIN BLOSSOM pattern. Incised Cobalt washed, " LYONS " Pottery stamp. attributed to T. Harrington. Who ran pottery in Lyons New York from 1852 to 1872. "American pottery, William Ketchum Jr. Pg. (73-74). COBALT washed handle tips, both sides !!! This croc is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL !!! an excellent piece for decorational purposes or Y...OUR COLLECTION !!! truly an exquisite piece of history. This beautiful piece of American history is signed with the initials a&w on the bottom. I am not sure if this has any significance with the artist or maker but as you can see from the pictures that is what it says on the bottom.
