We are listing today a lovely Antique 19th century Redware Lead Glaze Manganese Decorated Small Pitcher, we believe it is from Pennsylvania. This pitcher is in Excellent Condition with 1 large surface chip at the base, a small surface chip to the handle, a small surface chip to the pour spout, a few glaze flakes at the top rim, no other chips, cracks, and or repairs. The pitcher measures 6 1/4" tall, the top rim is 5 3/8" x 5 1/4", x 7 3/4" wide x 6" at the base and weighs approximately 2lb 6oz. The base is marked with an impressed 1 1/2. Great small form with hand tooled top rim and applied handle, great vertical striped sponge brown manganese lines.
