The crown and the R on the back relate to “our lady of Walsingham” this was the container used to take home some of the holy water.basically a early tourist piece but with great importance they may have walked for days to get there. it may have been given to a poorly family member who could not have made the pilgrimage or ...sprinkled on crops in hope of a better harvest. This is a very intriguing item although the top is damaged and could just be held on with years of dirt the crown and letter R are prominent and can be seen clearly.
