DESCRIPTION: This auction is for what I believe is an early sawdust filled Steiff pony. It measures 6-1/2" long and 6" high. There is no tag identifying it as such, but the design and quality certainly leads me to believe it is. It still has a smooth velvet feel although it has lost some of the nap. It is sawdust filled which has moved around over time. Some weakness to the legs, but no sawdust loss. There are no holes and no repairs. Photos offer a nice visual description of condition.... I am offering this piece for your collection with NO RESERVE. Good Luck!
