22” Wooden Jointer Plane With 2 3/8” W. Butcher Iron
Condition is good. Shows the kind of wear you’d expect from a century old wooden plane. The wood appears to be something other than the traditional beech. My guess is Mahogany but I can’t be sure. The Iron is from W. Butcher of Sheffield who at the time was known for fine steel edge tools from razors to chisels, planes, axes etc.. The plane body itself shows no markings so its origin is anybody’s guess. It’s a nice pi...ece. Message me with any questions.
