Reverse of the medal shows the well-known Latin inscription from Psalm 147: "NON FECIT TALITER OMNI NACIONI, " which translates as "To no other nation has such a wonder been done."
Our Lady of Guadalupe is the beloved app...arition of the Virgin Mary that appeared to San Juan Diego in 1531 in what is now Mexico City. She is Queen of Mexico, Heavenly Patron of Latin America, and Empress of the Americas. Known for her miraculous powers to cure the sick, Our Lady of Guadalupe is especially invoked during times of illness although petitioners seek Guadalupe’s aid for matters great and small. Her feast day is December 12th.
