Up for sale is a rare vintage IBM ThinkPad G41 laptop with Windows XP and Windows 98 SE dual boot installed. The Laptop has built-in floppy disk drive that is very useful for vintage software. It is in good working and cosmetic condition.
Software:
Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows 98 SE, IBM Preloaded software (XP), other vintage software, Netscape, Firefox, Games, etc.
Hardware: The laptop is equipped with an Intel Pentium 4 CPU at 3.06 Ghz (Highest P4 CPU... for laptop), 512 MB RAM, 40 GB hard drive. 14" LCD, Built-in Floppy disk drive (very useful for vintage software), DVDROM drive, 4 USB ports, 25-pin Printer/Parallel port , LAN part, Modem port, External VGA ports, PCMCIA slot, etc. Main Battery is dead, OEM AC Adapter is included. CMOS battery is just replaced. It should last for years.This laptop is most suitable for Windows 95/98 gaming and other vintage applications with the built-in floppy disk drive. As far as Internet goes, it does not have built-in Wifi, but you can still use Internet from XP with wired (via LAN port) and/or wireless via the included LinkSys card (last picture). For Windows 98 SE, the supported browsers are too old for modern WEB pages. So do not use Internet for Windows 98.
Cosmetically, it is used with normal wear and tear, The keyboard is worn, but the other parts are in nice shape. Overall in very good condition for its age. See pictures.
