Monk 6x30 BIF GA Navigator Binoculars, Japan, WP, betalight Compass, Excellent . Condition is Used.
A superb rare marine bino by Monk, made in Japan.
Cosmetically excellent, all rubber is excellent, light signs of usage, the window is scratch free.
Mechanically excellent, all focussers, bar, and both compasses operating perfectly.
Optically perfect, no dust mould or fungus, fully waterproof and nitrogen purged.
Excellent wide 8° optical views, really ...nice & easy to use, the compasses flow smoothly through the entire 360° rotation. Extremely accurate compasses! (÷/-1°)
They have the betalight (tritium cartridge) which is self illuminating the inside compass for night uses, but it has expired (12yr life) so a new tritium cartridge is needed, but not required.
Superb performance and clarity, long eye relief and the eyecups fold down fine.
Extremely rare to find these roof types, Japanese quality, it is same rebadged version as the nikon 8x30.
Comes with double ended connected rainshield/guard's and strap, with original box and leaflets.
A beautiful set.
