Available is a nice Minolta XL-601 Super 8 Movie Camera.This camera is one of the better silent Minolta Super 8cameras. It has a quality built multi-coated lens that producesexcellent looking footage.The Minolta XL-601 has a quick f/1.7 Zoom Lens. Thiscamera is great in daylight shooting and since it is an XL camera, it iswonderful for low light/existing light filming too.In addition to ...the regular filming speed, it also has a verydesirable time lapse feature that is built right in, no special out-board gearis needed!The camera has been film tested and works.It is nice and compact and has some cool features, including..... Cameras that only have a single frame function are not well suited for time lapse, (animation yes-time lapseno). This is because, when doing time lapse, you would have to manually take anexposure every time you wanted to expose a frame of film...so to obtain about 4seconds of finished screen time, you would have to sit by the camera and takean exposure once every minute for an hour. Boring! This Minolta allows you toset it up (on a tripod or wherever) set the frequency of your exposures andwalk away. The camera will do the rest until you run out of film or stop thecamera. If you're looking for a great Super 8 camera with nicefeatures for yourself or an aspiring film student....don't let this passyou by.
