Rare Vintage Curvulon D-150 70mm Movie Projection Lens. Serial number K1030. For conventional 70mm projection Hollywood, U.S.A. Also marked Kollmorgen Corp. AX-287 and AX-280.Weighs about 5 pounds, has both glass lenses and is approx 8.5” long. Some slight age wear to shell as shown. Seems minor. Glass lenses appear to be in good shape with no damage. Might benefit from proper cleaning. A bit about this lens from Dick Vetter, who helped create this type of lens back in the early 60�...�s.....“The D-150 Super Curvulon lens attachment was a basic design that I conceived and submitted to Kollmorgen Corp. in 1964 and that company was commissioned by D-150 to perform the final design and fabricate prototypes. Lead man at Kollmorgen was Glenn Berggren.”Will be packed extremely well for safe delivery.
