Item History & Price
Refurbished Rare Working Sony MSX2+ Computer HB-F1XDJ Upgraded MSX MSX2
Clean Working Tested
This is a fully working MSX2+ computer. The computer has 64Kb of RAM. It has MSX Basic version 3.0 and Disk Basic version 1.0. The computer look to not be used much as it is very clean. The floppy drive is fully functional with the belt in good condition. All the keys appear to be working normally. The sliders and ...all LEDs are working. The battery compartment looks new and unused.
The computer was disassembled. Using an air compressor, the motherboard was blown dust and dirt free. The floppy drive was inspected and the heads were cleaned. The real-time clock was removed and a replaceable batter holder installed. The daughter card, labeled EMC-NX0039 .. that can sometimes have bad SMD capacitors, look good.
There are marks around the case that likely were caused from being moved around in storage. There are no cracks in the case. The computer was tested with a 100v source, not typically 110v-120v USA house voltage. It will work on higher voltage but unknown how long before trouble could arise. Testing was done with the composite video output. It looked good and sharp on my Commodore monitor.
Please see the photos for content and physical condition.
Selling as-is with no warranty or returns.
