It is a half size card that has all the fuctionality of the older MPU 401 extermal box, but resides inside any PC AT compatible computer.
There is also a section on the board for an optional Roland Sound Canvas board for crezting Professional music sounds while sequencing.
The card is still in its original static bag, and the interface cables jave never been removed f...rom the plastic bag. There is a stick on labelb as well for reference.
It does not get any better than brand new, especially vintage music and computer hardware from decades past.
