Rare Beautiful 18th C. French Printed Cotton Block Printed Fabric
Description:This rare beautiful 18th century French printed cotton block printed fabric has a background color of a faded pinkish, redbackground-color with botanical bouquets of flowers, surrounding by triangles with tulips-like flowers, within the flowersare faded lovely blue into a soft aqua with black outlines for details.This beautiful fabr...ic originally started out as a quilt!.It is backed by an early linen fabric.
Measurement:The fabric measurement 27 1/4 " W X 43" L
Condition:VERY GOOD.Considering its age!. There are two holes, small rips near the top of the fabric, nothing major.Wonderful for collectors of early French fabrics.Heavier weight.The fabric has more of the original color on the left-hand side.
