ITEM DESCRIPTION Very rare, impressive, vintage or antique gothic lamp. Very detailed figural lamp. Most probably made in France, England or Germany. Fantastic design with three bronze gargoyle base and red ruby glass. This beautiful lamp as a ruby glass tube with the shape of 48 red buble crosses and brass or bronze inlay with a crown on top (see detailed pictures). Into this tube there is an... electric bulb (for security reasons bulb is not included) so when you turn the light on these 48 red crosses produces a mysterious and mythical luminescence and create a gothic and exhotic atmosphere. It is ready to use with two more electric bulbs on top and put a lampshade. So you have a great combination of two conventional bulbs into a shade with a ruby red light on base. This lamp is old electrified, however you have to reconnect cables because i will ship it dismantled in two pieces to avoid damages and to protect it. This lamp shows signals of use and a cross has a small blemishes (insignificant detail - see last picture). Red glass has no holes or cracks. Overall condition is really good and i prefered do not restore or polish it to preserve its original condition. Complete tall: almost 34 inches. Wide of base: 8 inches. Diameter of tube: 5 inches.
