T43p Thinkpad the last business notebook made by IBM, know for their quality and reliability and with standard features such as a titanium roll cage, modular components for easy upgrades, durable rubber coating, UltraNav double mouse, trackpoint, a quality keyboard with water protection, stainless steel hinges, magnesium in the lid, a biometric fingerprint reader and a built in Think-light

about 4...50 low original hours BEFORE the LED upgrade
and it has not been run except for testing since then

(which without any further modifications will work in any 15" T43p) (this was a low hour T43p with a dead backlight which I replaced with LED backlight kit, but the original layers in the screen had some yellowing near the center of the screen, see the Eby picture #6)

this notebook has custom enhancements for
higher security, 3rd party web links turned off
max privacy settings including ad blocker
with extra user notices turned off
+ one click + faster mouse speed
+ ultra nav one finger scroll at right edge
condition notes:
LCD has some uneveness and yellowing in the layers that only show on a white background
when solid colors like Marine screen saver it is looks normal
and looks good when gaming, also the LCD stays on high brightness,
the Fn+Home key (raise brightness) and Fn+End key (lower brightness)
shows the on screen level but it does not control the actual brightness of the LED,
it stays on high bright all the time, see actual photos
the fan is clean and blows well but makes some noise
the entire notebook plastics look close to new, and hinges are firm
but the PC door and spring was removed
note: this is worth the rare parts alone, a working; T43p 15" mainboard,
a working 15" Uxga LCD with a New LED backlight and LED inverter,
intalled in the screen that will work in any 15" T43p screen,
a good Uxga Flex video cable, and many more parts.
