Quantum3d Obsidian2 X-24 - 3DFX Voodoo2 SLI on a Card
Don't miss your chance to own one of the most awesome pieces of 3D graphics history in PC gaming. This was the bad-ass card everyone wanted back in 1998 and is essentially 2 x Voodoo 12MB versions on a single PCI - i.e. SLI on a card! This thing was extremely expensive back in the day and rare to find these days - especially with the box!
I am the second owner of the card and ran a battery of tests:I i...nstalled the card into a period specific Pentium II-based system with an Asus MB with an available PCI slotThe 2D card used for pass-through is a Diamond Viper V550.I used the drivers included on the Quantum3D driver CD provided as part of the bundle.I provided screenshots of the device manager, control panel, etc.I launched GLQuake and Forsaken to test the card in-game.
NOTE: The card requires a medusa cable to function properly via pass-through to your 2D card (or you can use the TV out). The pin-out for the medusa cable can be found online if you wish to make your own (I can provide the details if needed as well). Again, I am not including a medusa cable as this card is second hand and never came with one from my original eBay purchase.I will not be accepting returns given the age of my items.
Items will be packed to ensure their protection during transit. If using a forwarding service, I cannot guarantee their own proper handling of the item and will not take responsibility if the parcel is opened for inspection by an intermediary party. Please be sure to check out the pictures for what you will be receiving. The box is damaged and I've taken pictures from all angles so you have the complete picture. The card is beautiful cosmetically though, and functions without issue. The driver CD will be included as well as the original Obsidian 2 packing materials and foam inserts (within the white box).
