US Sales Only. Up for auction is a very rare piece that is not often come across. A very early Seneca Falls Treadle Lathe. These are the most desirable of Seneca Falls Lathes. It is 9" with a length from the front of the chuck to the end of the bed of 30" the total length from end of bed to the end of the change gears is 47" All parts are number matched, bed, headstock, tail stock.. The back gear is a replacement, because one tooth is bro...ken on the original( i have the original back gear and will be sold with the lathe) The lower center shaft is a replacement as well, and brass sleaved to make functional as you can see its rusted. There are a few cotter pins that are new, and the handle on the tailpiece is replaced, but otherwise all original parts to the piece. There are no repairs to the foot pedals or webbing of the flywheel or legs. The bed ways are in very good condition. This piece has been stripped down cleaned and painted in the traditional color. The belt will need shortened as it is very loose. Please message me if you have any questions. I have many extra pictures and can take any that you may need.
